Term Dates

The 2025/2026 ballet school year runs from the 15th of September to the 31st of May.

There are three 10-class terms in the school year.

  • Term 1: Begins on the 15th of September and ends on the 30th of November.
  • Term 2: Begins on the 1st of December and ends on the 8th of March.
  • Term 3: Begins on the 9th of March and ends on the 31st of May.

All students have class every week except for the following holidays:

  • No classes for the Autumn midterm: 27th of October to 2nd of November (one week)
  • No classes for the Winter holidays: 15th of December to 4th of January (three weeks)
  • No classes for the Spring midterm: 16th of February to 22nd of February (one week)
  • No classes for the Easter holidays: 30th of March to 12th of April (two weeks)


Some additional changes due to Ballet Exams taking place on two Saturdays in May:

9th of May

  • There will be no ballet classes for students in Pre-Primary to Grade 2 on Saturday the 9th of May as we have Royal Academy of Dance exams taking place all day. Affected students are welcome to attend any of the other corresponding classes we offer that week. Please see our full timetable here: Timetable
  • Students in Grade 3 and Technique will have class on the 9th of May but it will take place in different venue (location to be confirmed).

23rd of May

  • There will be no ballet classes for students in Pre-Primary to Grade 3 (including Technique) on Saturday the 23rd of May for the same reason. There will be a full day of classes added on the 6th of June to make up for this in the usual venue, the Baldoyle Community Hall.

Extra dates:

  • Dress-up week: 20th-26th of October (All students invited to dress-up for class to celebrate the influence of costumes and storytelling in ballet)
  • School tour Grade 2 and above: 7th of December (Students in Grade 2 and above invited on our school tour to see the Irish National Youth Ballet)
  • Winter show cases: 8th-14th of December  (Parents and guardians invited to watch the last 30 minutes of class before the winter break)
  • Teddy day: 23rd-20th of March  (Students invited to bring a teddy to ballet class)


Term fees are due on or before the first day of term (15th of September, 1st of December and 9th of March).

  • Fees can be paid through our online booking system, a class link will be sent via email.
  • Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

The cost for students taking one class per week is €115 per 10-week term (10 classes). The cost for an individual student taking two classes per week is €205 per 10-week term. The cost for senior students to add Advanced Technique as a third class per week is €90 per 10-week term.
